Mary Lynn Cristiano

Practice Manager

What does your role at Union Square Practice involve?

As Practice Manager at Union Square Practice, I oversee the daily operations of the practice and work closely with both clinical and administrative teams to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. I serve as a central point of coordination for the practice, helping to ensure and maintain a high standard of patient care and experience.

What has your professional experience been like before joining USP?

Before joining Union Square Practice, I worked across several areas of healthcare. My most recent endeavor was in ketamine therapy, but I have also worked in pediatrics and even served as a scrub technologist for a plastic surgery practice.

What’s the most rewarding part of your role?

The most rewarding part of my role is being able to support both patients and the team while helping create an organized, welcoming, and compassionate environment. I enjoy being someone others can rely on, helping the office run smoothly during busy days, and contributing to a space where patients feel cared for and providers feel supported and appreciated.

What’s something your coworkers might be surprised to learn about you?

Something my coworkers might be surprised to learn about me is that I originally went to college to become a funeral director and I worked in the funeral service industry for several years before transitioning into healthcare administration and practice management.
