What are research areas are you interested in?
My research has focused on investigating the long-term neuropsychological and emotional outcomes of acquired brain injury and other neurological disorders.
What should I expect in our first session?
We’ll discuss any concerns you have about your thinking, learning, mood, overall functioning, etc., and develop a plan to ensure that the neuropsychological evaluation addresses all the issues at hand.
How do you describe your therapeutic approach?
In each evaluation, I investigate patients’ concerns from all angles possible. I include input from multiple sources by gathering observations from family members, treatment providers, and teachers. I strive to include a patient’s support system not just in the data-gathering process but also in treatment planning and follow-up to provide maximum support and succeed to each patient.
How long have you been practicing?
I joined Union Square Practice after completing my postdoctoral fellowship at Mount Sinai. It’s a truly special practice that provides the highest level of care.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
I enjoy getting to know each of my patients, learning their life stories, and being a part of their journey to overcome whatever it is that they’re struggling with.
In another life, if you weren’t working in counseling, what would you be doing?

What is a self-care ritual you practice?
I never skip getting a monthly massage.
