Madeline Ziegler

LMHC

I am a licensed mental health counselor with a passion for creativity. I work primarily with adolescent and adult clients in the lgbtq+ community and performing arts. I utilize a holistic, client-centered approach to understand my clients’ needs and help them overcome struggles while building confidence in their ability to navigate life. My treatment specialties are OCD, autism, ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, and mood disorders.

How do you describe your therapeutic approach?

My therapeutic approach involves creating a safe space for clients to be themselves and relax while working through difficult subjects.

What research areas are you interested in?

I am very interested in research surrounding autism as well as psychedelic-assisted therapy and treatment-resistant depression interventions.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part of my job is seeing client progress.

In another life, if you weren’t working in counseling, what would you be doing?

If I weren’t a clinician I would be an event planner.

What is a self-care ritual you practice?

Dancing and swimming are my favorite forms of self care.
