Lilias “Lily” Evans is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who specializes in psychotherapy and psychiatric medication management for adolescents and adults. Lily sees patients with a wide variety of mental health concerns, though specializes in treating patients experiencing eating disorders, anxiety, and depression.
Lily takes a holistic approach to mental health, utilizing principles of mindfulness, distress tolerance, and behavioral change. She offers a psychodynamically-informed, practical style of psychotherapy with the aim of helping clients expand awareness and insight into their thoughts and behaviors. Additionally, she utilizes psychopharmacological medications when clinically appropriate to help clients achieve their goals.
Lily received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Columbia University School of Nursing. In addition to working with patients at USP, Lily is an inpatient attending provider at the New York State Psychiatric Institute’s Eating Disorder Research unit.
Prior to her clinical career, Lily worked in mental health advocacy for several years.
