Eli is a Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP) and Mental Performance Coach who integrates solution-focused, acceptance and commitment therapy, and person-centered approaches in his work with individuals. He has experience working with adolescents and young adults on topics including anxiety, confidence, identity development, and emotional control.
Eli believes that the client-therapist relationship is fundamental to a successful and meaningful experience in therapy. As such, he works to develop a supportive, nonjudgmental space where individuals can be themselves and develop greater self-awareness. Eli works collaboratively with clients to develop meaningful goals, while seeking to empower individuals in finding realistic solutions to achieve them. Eli believes that all individuals are resilient and capable of achieving their therapeutic goals.
Prior to joining USP, Eli gained experience providing both counseling and mental performance services for college students. He worked within a college counseling center and consulted with various athletic teams on campus. What he found most meaningful about this experience was the opportunity to support young adults in navigating the many complex challenges that accompany college life.
